What a weekend, opening night of the State Tour with Todd Rundren Sunday 5/5 and then again Monday 5/6. Prairie Prince and Jesse Gress were up to the task of a highly technical “rave” accompanied by a fab light show!
The Hudson Valley Artists Hurricane Relief Concert Sunday Night 11/11 was a huge success at the Bearsville Theatre. More than 12 garbage bags of blankets, food, personal hygiene products and cases of water were transported by Family of Woodstock to American Red Cross NY Chapter in Staten Island& Queens. Over $5000+ was raised in ticket sales and auction items from many generous folks including Daryl Hall&John Oates, Natalie Merchant, and Elliott Landy!
Heading to the New Hampshire Film Festival in Portsmouth the weekend of 10/11-12/14. A panelist on the Music in Film panel with PARMA on Sunday 10/14 from 1-3 and celebrating the feature FAIRHAVEN with the Director/Writer Tom O’Brien that screens at 4:40 pm on Sunday too…I had the honor of music supervising this feature!!!
"Occupy This Album", a compilation CD (99 songs!) featuring David Crosby & Graham Nash, Steve Earle, Tom Morello, Willie Nelson, Ani DiFranco, Third Eye Blind, Immortal Technique and Jackson Browne, Michael Moore and WACBIZ artists My Pet Dragon and Taj Weekes, to be released Tuesday, May 15th. All proceeds from this album will go to fund the Occupy Wall Street movement (all the musicians and songwriters have donated their time and music).
"Don’t Stop Believing" The Journey documentary directed by Ramona S. Diaz features the new lead singer Arnel Pineada and the core members of Journey; Neal Schon and Deen Castronova, Jonathan Cain and Ross Valory. The band and documentary rocked the roof of the BMCC Tribeca PAC last night. Congrats to Josh Green, this is one of the best rockumentaries I have seen! This 11th Tribeca Film Festival is one of the best ever! Looking forward to the premier of Tom O’Brien’s FAIRHAVEN tonight, so proud to be his music supervisor and feature so many WACBIZ Artists!!!
